Kay Clark

Kay Judd Clark, 73, of Bowling Green passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at her residence, with her family by her side. Kay was a native of Greensburg, KY and was born June 22, 1952 in Louisville, KY. She was proceeded in death by her parents Dr. Herman Judd and Kathleen (Lichliter) Judd.

Kay worked at the Social Security Administration for over 33 years and retired as a Technical Expert.

She loved attending Hillvue Heights Church where she found peace in Jesus guiding her through life.

Kay was a music enthusiast. She was a drummer and frequently participated in blues jams, and a member of the Kentucky Blues Society. Kay was the beloved matriarch of the family, the heart and foundation who held everything together. Her unwavering love, strength, and wisdom were cherished by all who knew her- husband, brother, daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren and countless other family members and friends. Her presence was a source of comfort, guidance and unity, and her legacy of love will live on in each of us.

Survivors include her husband Mike Clark, her daughter Shae South (Scott). One brother Bill Judd (Jackie) and eight precious grandchildren Hunter Shelton (Madison), Halle Shelton (Josh Yoebstl), Hayden Shelton, Hannah South, Conner South, Mason South, Ethan South and Madison South. Six precious great-grandchildren Ryder Shelton, Everleigh Shelton, Kooper Yoebstl, Audrey Yoebstl, Scarlett South, Ellie South and Rylee South.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens.
