Catherine Chase Clark, 78, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Brigham City, Utah, surrounded by family. Born February 20, 1947, in Idaho Falls to Wilford and Wilma Chase, Catherine was raised on a farm in Shelton, Idaho. She graduated from Ririe High School in 1965 and earned an Associate's Degree from Ricks College around 1967. Catherine served a mission for her church in Northern California from 1968-1970. She was an accomplished pianist and organist, serving in numerous church musical positions throughout her life. She was married to Frank Wesley Clark from 1972 until 2010. They were blessed with five children: Wesley (Kari), Paul (Wendy), Janelle (Travis) Nessen, Dianna (Rey) Mora, and Michael (Sarah). Catherine faced significant health challenges in her later years with remarkable courage and faith. She resided at the Maple Springs Mission care facility in Brigham City at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sharon. She is survived by her five children, 19 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren with two more expected, and sister Janet Schwaller. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Honeyville LDS Chapel, 2620 W. 6980 N. Honeyville, UT 84314. A viewing will take place prior to the funeral at the same location from 11:30 A.M.-12:15 P.M. Interment will be at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
