Bernice Bein, age 99, of Plymouth, went home to be with her Lord on September 25, 2025.

She was born on January 21, 1926 at Racine, WI, a daughter of the late Fred and Anita (Krueger) Bilgo.

Bernice attended Immanuel Lutheran School, Sheboygan, WI, and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1943. She was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church and since 1943 has been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Plymouth where she was a former member of the Ladies Evening Guild as well as doing other volunteer work for the church.

Bernice enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren when they were young, sewing, playing cards and dominos and just being with her family.

On May 15, 1948 she married Walter Bein at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Her husband preceded her in death on May 17, 1989.

Survivors include two sons: Wes (Sharon) Bein of Plymouth and Dan Bein of South Carolina, daughter: Julie (Chris) Loebel of Plymouth; Six grandchildren, Jeff Bein, Jenny (Russ) Oehmen, Tim (Laura) Bein, Sarah (Tyler) Crowder, Spencer (Courtney) Loebel, Macie (Travis) Kissel; great -grandchildren: Rease Oehmen, Michaela, Nathan, and Hannah Bein, Tristan and Weston Crowder, Charlotte Loebel, and Baylen and Brady Kissel.

Bernice is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter-in-law, Nancy Bein, and many other relatives.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
