Bernice Wilson Hall

Bernice Hall, a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a faithful servant in the body of Christ, quietly and peacefully

transitioned into eternal life on the morning of June 9, 2025, at Maefair Health Care Center in Trumbull, CT. She was 79 years

old.

Born on May 8, 1946, in Blackville, SC, Bernice was the youngest of five children and the only daughter to the late Dewey Wilson Sr. and Mary Haynes Wilson. During her youth, Bernice moved to Bridgeport, CT, where she graduated from Warren Harding High School. It was there she met and married her one and only love, Hughie Hall. Together, they built a life and raised three sons.

Bernice, like her husband, worked at the prestigious Oronoque Orchards bakery before continuing her education to become a

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She dedicated several years to caring for others at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center until her retirement. Mother Hall was a dedicated servant in the body of Christ and a faithful and supportive member of True Mission Ministries, where she joyfully served until her health began to decline. Her unwavering faith and commitment to her church community were cornerstones of her

life.

Bernice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hughie Hall, and her brothers Dewey Wilson Jr., Redick Wilson, Leroy

Wilson, and James Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memory her three devoted children: Ronald Hall, George Hall (Josephine), and Timothy Hall (Shawnisa). She was also a cherished grandmother to Rosalie D. Satumbaga and Gabrielle A. Hall, and a loving great-grandmother to Jian and Kaya Satumbaga.

Her legacy of love and faith will continue through her family.
