Bernice Ann (Dolly) Hutt-Kiser passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025.
She was born on Aug. 4, 1930 in Botkins, OH
to Alfred & Barbara Hutt. She was a 1948 graduate of Botkins
High School and kept connected to her classmates till death.
On Oct. 7,1950 she married Richard Kiser who proceeded her in death in 2004.
Bernice was a skilled homemaker and passed on many skills
to her 3 daughters and grandchildren. She was an Advisor for
their 4-H Club, the Snips and Snaps and taught many young
ladies sewing and cooking skills. She loved to garden, but
spending time with her family was her greatest joy.
Bernice worked along side of her husband, Dick and
managed the House of Music for many years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and also the Christian Mothers
Society. She served in many different ministries at the Church.
She was a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Survivors include three daughters Connie (Tom) Dailey, Leo, IN, Pamela and
(Mark) Wegenka of Katy, TX and Rhonda (Tony) Duff of Cleves, OH- 7
grandchildren and 17 Great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with her grandson Father Michael Wegenka as the celebrant. Burial is to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends 9:30-10:30 a.m., Friday, October 17, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church or masses for Bernice. Condolences may be expressed at www.eleyfuneralhomeandcrematroy.com.
