Bernice A. Lovesee (Linskens) passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence. She was born on November 24, 1932 in West De Pere to the late Henry and Marie Vanden Elzen. She graduated from East De Pere High School in 1950.
Bernice had a loving heart and compassion for helping anyone in need. Bernice's greatest joy was her family and love of traveling. Some of her travels included Spain, Cayman Islands, New York and her many excursions with Salvation Army friends. Throughout the years she enjoyed golfing, bowling, bocce ball, line dancing, teaching euchre, ushering at the Weidner Center and outings with friends.
Survivors include her seven children, Dan (Sherry) Linskens, Karen (John) Erickson, Jeanne (Randy) Russell, Judy (Mike) Treml, David Linskens (Karla), Dale (Carol) Linskens, Shari Linskens, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, brother Eddie, sister-in-laws, Jeanne and Bernadette and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jim and Bob, sister, Helen, and sister-in-law, Anita.
Thank you to special friend, Margaret Schmitt, as well as the staff at Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence for their kindness, support and compassion during Bernice's last days.
A visitation will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2379 E.
