Sally and Presar family - Please accept my sincere condolences regarding Bert's passing. I think you know how much the Presar family meant to me in my formative years. Presars to me represent people of character, family oriented, and people of faith. Good-hearted, caring people. Bert certainly carried all these traits and passed the same along to the next generation of Presars. Sally, you and Bert also were very special to Don & Lois, who I think of every day. They spoke so fondly of their travel with you and how much they enjoyed their time with you. In my mind, "Bert and Sally" is a phrase that naturally flows, as the two of you were inseparable. My prayer for you Sally is for God's peace and grace in this time of loss. May God rest Bert's kind soul.

I remember Bert when he was a child. He and his parents and little sister, Nancy, were coming into the church. I was 2 years older, but I thought "what a lovely family." And they were. When my husband, Roger R. , and our family returned to Wapak, we soon became reacquainted with Bert who was a kind, friendly and smiled a lot to make all happy to know him. Our sympathy to his family.

What a great person. Tim and I both had Mr. Presar as a teacher. After he retired from teaching, we would see him around town and stop to chat, and I would always call him Mr. Presar. He would tell me to call him Bert, but i just couldn't, didn't feel right. He was always "Mr. Presar" .
