Bert Swanson Obituary
He lived in the Walkerton area most of his life. On June 30, 1984 in Walkerton, he married the love of his life Carolyn Schultz, who precedes Bert's death. He was previously the owner of Clyde's Steering Service until his retirement, and also was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. He loved to restore classic cars and Wheel Horse tractors.
Bert is survived by four children: Jamie (Mike) Monroe of Rolling Prairie, Kim (Brian) Warne of Walkerton, Marcy Waldo of Westville, and Brett (Angie) Schultz of Wakarusa; eight grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
It was Bert's wishes to be cremated, and in honoring his wishes there will be no services held.
