Seminole resident, Bertha Lee Davidson, 77, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in Shawnee.
Bertha, the daughter of James and Oleta (Davis) Richard, was born December 10, 1947, in Seminole. She grew up in Maud, and graduated from Maud High School, with the class of 1966. On January 24, 1969, she married Larry Davidson, in Seminole. She loved to travel and take vacations with her daughter and granddaughter, son and daughter-in-law. She particularly enjoyed going to Lake Eufaula with her husband and children, when they were younger. A favorite lake activity was taking walks with her husband, by the lake, eating Kentucky Fried Chicken. Bertha studied the Bible and enjoyed collecting dolls and taking care of her cats. A lifelong member of the Seminole area, Bertha spent a portion of her life, living with her daughter, helping take care of her granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oleta and James Richard; and by her brother, James (Roy) Richard.
Bertha is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Davidson; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Alice Davidson, of Seminole; daughter and son-in-law, Valaurie and Mark Poulter, of Moore; a granddaughter, Faith Poulter; brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Maria Richard, of Seminole; and a sister, Oleta Sue Richard; along with many other family members and friends.
Services are Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home, in Seminole, with Donny Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
