DAVIDSON, Gerald Lee – of Clio, age 93, died Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Cranberry Park. Honoring Gerald's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Gerald was born June 1, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to the late David and Francis (Weatherwax) Davidson. He grew up in Beecher and graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1950. Gerald proudly served his country in the US Army in Korea. On December 10, 1955 he married Carole Cheadle and she preceded him in death on October 3, 2022. Prior to his retirement in 1986, Gerald worked for GM as a Skilled Trades Foreman with 35 years of service. Gerald was a member of the Masonic Lodge #535, Elf Khurafeh Shriners Hospital, VFW post # 5678, Moose Lodge 2400, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles # 4237. He was also a member of the Yacht Club and was an auxiliary member of the Coast Guard. He enjoyed hunting, doing carpentry work, remodeling houses, and working on electric motors.

Surviving are: Children, Karen Smith, Gerald (Gerri Lynne) Davidson Jr.; Grandchildren, Nathan Davidson, Ryan Smith, and Dan Smith; Great Grandchildren, Mars Smith, Trevon Smith, and Xander Smith; Sister, Maxine Craig; Special Niece, Candy Everett; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Carole Davidson; Brother, David Davidson; Son in law, Robert Smith.
