Bertha K. Grazulis

Bertha K. (Ballou) Grazulis,96, of Whitinsville passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at home.
She was the wife of the late John E. Grazulis who died in 1976.
Mrs. Grazulis worked for the Worcester District Nursing Society, Milford Hospital, local nursing homes, and the former VNA with Milford-Whitinsville Hospital, retiring at the age of 62. Upon retiring she moved to Winchester, NH for 5 years before returning to the local area.
She was born April 6, 1925 in Chester, VT the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Glendeen (Bosworth) Ballou. She graduated from Bellows Falls High School in VT and Burbank Hospital School of Nursing in Fitchburg, MA.
A vicarious reader, she also enjoyed baking, gardening and bird watching. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed home making.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Daniel J. Grazulis of Spencer, Stanley A. Grazulis and his wife Karen of Webster and, and Robert D. Grazulis and his wife Debra of Whitinsville; 2 daughters, Mary K. Montecalvo and her husband Francis of Sutton, and Carol A. McDonald of VA; the grandchildren: Paul Grazulis, Michael Montecalvo and his wife Muirgheal, Amy D'Anello and her husband Matt, Joelle Montecalvo, Christine Herzberg and her husband Andrew, Steven Montecalvo and his wife Renee, Patrick Grazulis and his wife Sherri, Adam Grazulis and his wife Alissa, David Grazulis and his wife Lisa, Andrew Grazulis and his wife Jill, Rachel Martin and her husband Kenneth, Zephyr Nyx, Michael Grrazulis, Rebekah Grazulis, Kimberly Grazulis, Maurice Guertin and his wife Marsha, Darryl Guertin, Katelyn McDonald and Lindsay Proctor and her husband Will. She also leaves 32 great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Grazulis, a sister, Marion Derby, a brother, Alfred Ballou, a daughter in law Maryellen Grazulis and son in law Robert McDonald.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 2nd from 9-10:30 A.M. at Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main Street, Uxbridge followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Cornerstone Church, 5 Hartford Ave. E, North Uxbridge.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Granite St., Uxbridge.
