It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bertha "Mingie" Adelmaria Mu¤oa (Barrera), a beloved member of our Anaheim community for 93 years, who peacefully passed away. Born in Buena Park, California. Bertha is survived by her loving family members, including her son, Phillip B. Mu¤oa, III, her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Mu¤oa (Dean), her daughters, Delmarie Ann Mu¤oa (Maddox) and Rosemarie Mu¤oa (Colicchio), her son-in-law Michael J. Colicchio, 9 grandchildren Phillip Benjamin Mu¤oa, IV (Kacie Mu¤oa), Anna Maria Mu¤oa (Craig Salveta) Elizabeth Eveyln Mu¤oa (Nate Woudstra) Christopher Ryan-Phillip Maddox, Stephanie Paige Maddox, Michael Maddox, Anthony Michael Colicchio, Erin Marie Colicchio and Isabella Rose Colicchio, and 6 great-grandchildren. Their lives have been forever enriched by her presence, and her memory will be treasured in their hearts. Bertha was predeceased by her loving husband, Phillip B. Mu¤oa, Jr. and her son-in-law, Michael Maddox. Bertha was ninth in a family of twelve and is survived by her only living sibling, George Barrera. The arrangements to honor Bertha's life are being handled by Hilgenfeld Mortuary, in Anaheim, California. Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 19th from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. with Rosary starting at 6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Anaheim.
