Bertha Shive Obituary

Bertha was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the West Side First Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Virgil Shive.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Pigott and her husband Daniel, her son Steven Virgil Shive and his wife Lavonn, her grandchildren Shawn Pigott and his wife Jessica, Danielle Young and her husband Curtis James, Natalie Loveland and her husband Joe, Crissie Lockman and her husband Trae, Ashley Warren and her husband Tyler, and Katelyn Young, her great-grandchildren Allison, Leila, Zeke, Asher, Elie, Lucy, and Violette, and her great-great-grandchild Lilly. Mrs. Shive is also survived by her other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am – 11:00am at West Side First Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Doug Inzer officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Memorial Park.

I helped take care of miss Bertha and she was one of my favorite residents. She always had a smile on her face when I came into the room and was always very grateful. She will be greatly missed. Sending prayers that God helps heal the family's hearts and helps guide them.
