Bertha Mae Sims

Bertha Mae Sims, lovingly known as "Bertha Mae", of Anderson South Carolina, departed this life on January 6, 2026 at the youthful age of 80 at McCalls Hospice House of Greenville. She was born April 22, 1945 to the late Andrew and Elizabeth Scott of Anderson South Carolina. Remembered for her love of taking pictures, love of music, awesome dance moves, and most importantly God and family. Her memory will live on through all the many lives she touched over the years with her infectious personality. Bertha's generous spirit will be remembered as she is survived by her son Gregory Scott, Freda Sims, and Pamela Mattison all of South Carolina, 9 grandkids, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grand, brother Colie Scott, sister Zeola Crosby, and a host of nieces and nephews of South Carolina. She was greeted in Heaven by her daughter Anita Scott, her parents Andrew and Elizabeth Scott, brother Allen "Cheetah" Scott and Roy Scott. Sleep peacefully until we shall meet again.

Funeral service will be held Saturday 12:00 A.M. at Living Water Church, public viewing will be Friday from 12:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
