Robert Rodrequiz Johnson

Robert Rodriquez Johnson, affectionately known as "Nut," was born and raised in Lavonia, Georgia, where he attended Hart County High School, Class of 1997. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and laughter could brighten anyone's day. Robert truly loved people and valued meaningful relationships, holding tightly to friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Johnson; his sister, Frances Johnson; his paternal grandparents, L.D. Johnson and Nellie Burton Johnson; and his maternal grandparents, Fletcher McCurry and Essie McCurry.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Rachel Gardner (Chester) of Lavonia, Georgia; his brother, Timothy Johnson of Jefferson, Georgia; his sister, Patricia Burtch (Kenneth) of Lavonia, Georgia; and his stepbrother, Matthew Gardner. He is also survived by his beloved niece, Kiara Johnson; his three nephews, Malik Johnson, Kennan Burtch, and Kendaus Burtch; and his great-nephew, Kah'mari Robinson. He is further survived by his Savannah, Georgia family - Kelly Anderson (fiancé), along with Kaydan Anderson and Dashon Grant Jr., whom he lovingly referred to as his grandchildren - as well as a host of relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

Robert Rodriquez Johnson will forever live through us all in the memories we shared. Though he will be deeply missed, he will never be forgotten. We will always cherish his love, his laughter, and his generous spirit - especially his desire to be there for everyone.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 10, 2026 at 3:00P.M. at Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home Chapel.
