BERTHA "ANNETTE" YATES, AGE 80

OAK GROVE, LOUISIANA

A memorial service for Bertha "Annette" Frith Yates will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Louisiana, at 2:00P.M., with Brother Bill Bearden officiating. A time of visitation will precede the memorial service from 12:00 to 2:00. All are invited to attend.

Annette was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana, on September, 1, 1945, to James and Rosa Lee Frith. She passed away in Ridgeland, Mississippi, on September 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Annette is survived by her husband, Sammy Yates of Forest; daughter, Teresa Johns (Richie); daughter, Kim Bonnette (Billy); daughter, Susie Jones (David); sister, Louise Martin (the late Joseph) of Lake Providence; Louisiana; grandchildren Luke Johns (Stephanie), Walker Johns (Nicole), Landon Ragland, Baylee Hinkle (Cyrus), Dylan Jones (Sierra), Dustin Jones (Shaylinn), Dawson Jones (Sierra), Katie Blanchet (Bob), and Kacie Vice. She had 16 great-grandchildren that she adored.

Annette is preceded in death by her parents, James and Rosa Lee Frith; her stepson, Don Walker; her brother, Charles Frith (Deanna); her brother, Floyd Frith (Ruby); and her brother, Kenneth Frith (Pam).

Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
