Bess Bosin Obituary
Bess (nee Dresner) Bosin, 97, of Danbury, formerly of Boca Raton, FL and Teaneck, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2022, in Danbury, CT.
Mrs. Bosin was the wife of the late Fred Bosin and the sister of the late Alfred and Sy Dresner.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of Samuel and Rose (Kaplan) Dresner.
Mrs. Bosin attended Brooklyn schools, received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from New York University and a Master's Degree in Education from Columbia University. She was an educator for many years at the Girls' High School in Brooklyn, NY.
She was an active member of Hadassah and Sisterhood. Mrs. Bosin's passion was music. She enjoyed performing in live theatre where she was a showcase singer.
She is survived by two daughters, Helene Feigen and her husband Dr. Mark of Danbury, CT and Rhoda Zelezny of Fairlawn, NJ , a son Dr. Sanford Bosin and his wife Susan of Boca Raton, FL, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services and burial will take place on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 1 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook, New Jersey (www.RiversideCemetery.org)
