Beth Danes Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Beth Marie Danes (Hansen), who left us on Thursday, June 6, at the young age of 66. She passed surrounded by family. Her love for her grandchildren was unwavering and will forever be remembered. Loving mother of Amanda (Tommy) Dysland, Lisa (Michael) Endl and Ashley (Garrett) Knoop. Proud grandmother of Aiden, Taylor, Carter, Laney, Rowan, Abraham and Marlowe. Dear sister of Lee (Dianne) Hansen and Jill (Mitch) Stovring. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Jean Hansen of Shell Lake.
She leaves behind many good friends with whom she enjoyed bingo, bowling and endless crazy adventures - often in costume. It was their big hearts that kept her in a small town. She lived for time spent with her grandkids, making peanut butter cookies, trading back scratches, completing puzzles, riding on the pontoon and recently traveling with them to Disney World.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, June 15, at 1 p.m. with a service following at 3 p.m. at the Shell Lake United Methodist Church located at 135 Reinhart Dr, Shell Lake, WI 54871.
