Beth Marie Earl

With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Beth Marie Earl, who left this world peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 59, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Beth was born on October 17, 1965, in Rockland, Maine, to Marie Bowden and Ronald Potter. She was lovingly raised by George Earl and Juanita Morin, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also deeply supported by Ronald Morin, who later married Juanita.
Beth was predeceased by her beloved boyfriend, Todd Keyes, who passed away last summer. Todd was the love of her life, a steady and comforting presence whose companionship brought Beth deep happiness and peace. Together, they shared life's joys and challenges with love and devotion, and his passing left a profound void in her heart.
Beth faced a hard life with remarkable strength and resilience, persevering through challenges with courage and determination. Known for her fierce independence, she lived life on her own terms. She will be remembered for her sense of humor that brightened many days and her uncanny ability to connect with both young children and the elderly.
Beth found joy in life's simple pleasures and was particularly fond of cribbage, a game she enjoyed throughout her life and often used as a way to connect, laugh, and share time with loved ones. Beth loved to garden in the backyard and would grow huge tomato plants and other veggies. She was an avid knitter and often knit socks and mittens for loved ones for Christmas, which was her favorite holiday.
Beth had a lifelong love for cats. As a young girl, her favorite companion was a Siamese cat named Snoopy, who patiently let her dress him in baby clothes. Later in life, her dearest companion was Pebbles, another Siamese cat, who brought her comfort and unconditional love. Pebbles wasn't just a pet-she was Beth's best friend.
Above all, Beth was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her greatest pride and joy came from her family. She is survived by her four beloved children: Joshua Earl, Ashley Earl, Jason Earl and his wife Taylor Earl, and Taneele Jones and her husband Andrew Jones. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Owen Earl, and to Liam, Emma, and Bennett Jones.
Beth is also survived by her sisters: Laurie Seekins, Alicia Covert, and Tricia Mastin, and many other half-siblings, extended family members, and friends who will miss her deeply, and will carry her memory in their hearts.
In accordance with her wishes, no public memorial service will be held. Family and close friends are invited to remember Beth privately and in their own meaningful way. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beth's name may be made to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland in Westbrook, Maine-a cause close to her heart.
