Beth Force Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Durand Chapel on Dec. 30, 2025.
Beth Ann Force, age 67, of Bancroft, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at Durand Senior Care. A visitation will be held from 11-1:00 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, 501 N. Saginaw St., Durand, MI 48429. A graveside service will be held immediately following at Fremont Cemetery, Bancroft.
Born on May 13, 1958, to the late Larry and Margaret (Summers) Klein, Beth's early years were filled with the joy of growing up with her three sisters, Connie, Laurie, and Jackie, and her brother, John. Her family was her foundation, and she carried that sense of belonging and love throughout her life.
Beth's creativity was just one of the hallmarks of her personality, touching the lives of everyone she met. After high school, she married her beloved Stanley Force, and together they nurtured a family of five wonderful children, David, Libby, Ethan, Hannah, and Jesse. Beth's devotion to her family was her greatest achievement, and she took immense pride in the compassionate, hardworking individuals her children became.
Beth's interests were a reflection of her appreciation for the beauty in the world and the connections she fostered. She loved nature, whether it was a quiet walk in the woods or tending to her garden, where she found peace and inspiration. Her artistic talent shone through in her drawings and love of music. She passed on a love of artistic creation to all of her children.
Conversations with Beth were never dull; her wit, humor, and the occasional "sharp tongue" brought light and laughter into any room.
Her legacy remains alive through her loving children and their spouses who survive her, David (Shauna) Force, Libby (Alan) Buckel, Ethan (Jennifer) Force, Hannah (Audrey) Force, and Jesse Force. Her life's joy was amplified by her grandchildren, Connor, Aiden, Eleanor, and Elliot, who will miss their grandmother's funny stories and creative spirit. She also leaves behind her dear siblings, Connie (Steve) Crawford, Laurie Fisher, Jackie (Mike) Malachoski, and John (Stephanie) Muston, her step-mother Sharon Shoemaker, as well as many nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends who were like an extended family to her.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Jack Muston and her husband, Stanley, with whom she married on December 27th 1977, until his passing in 2019. Their reunion today, is a comforting thought to those she left behind. In her life, Beth taught us to find joy in everyday moments, to embrace our creativity, and to cherish the time we have with our loved ones. Her memory will be held in the hearts of those who knew her as an emblem of kindness, laughter, and love.
As we bid farewell to Beth Ann Force, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a woman dearly loved.
