Beth Piper Meier

Beth (Piper) Meier, 66, of Latrobe, peacefully passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.
Born April 20, 1959, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Joan (Hoffman) Piper of State College and the late Harvey S. Piper.
Beth was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. She enjoyed cross stitch and baking and then gifting her creations to family and friends, a sign of her selfless and incredibly caring personality. She was an avid Penn State fan, proudly cheering on the Nittany Lions whenever she had the chance. Above all, Beth loved her children, would do anything for them, and was very proud of both of them.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, John F. Meier of Latrobe; one son, Matthew P. Meier of Latrobe; one daughter, Elizabeth C. Meier of Philadelphia; one brother, Daniel Piper of State College; one sister, Tina Jay and her husband, Jim, of Jacksonville, FL; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
At the family's request, there will be no public visitations. Family and friends are invited to Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, to attend a memorial gathering at Noon followed by a memorial Mass at 1 PM. Private interment was at St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clelian Heights, 135 Clelian Heights Lane, Greensburg, PA 15601.
