Beth Roxanne Van Bergen, age 73, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at her home.

Tribute from her husband, Bob ~
"My Darling, Darling Beth,
It is 5 am, the morning after. Remington woke me at 4:30, and I couldn't go back to sleep.
So, here I am, trying desperately to hold it together.
Remi is confused as to why l am crying, and I keep telling her it's okay, but it's not. It will be, I know, it has to be. There is much wonder, in how I will go on without you, but l will, because I know that's what my Pollyanna would do. You were so very, very strong through these last 8.5 years, and I know you would expect no less from me. So, I will put one foot in front of the other, and do my best to honor your memory. But I cannot lie baby, that after 60+years as my best friend, and 50+ years as my wife, lover, and soulmate, I'm going to have a tough time. It is my most sincere prayer darling, that you left this world knowing how very, very much I loved you. Knowing what an honor it was, to have made life's journey with you. Rest assured my love, our journey is not over. This is temporary. I will find you again. God has told me so. I know you had no idea, what an extraordinary woman, what an exemplary human being you were, to us, and to all that had the good fortune to know you. I looked with wonder, all day yesterday, at our children and grandchildren, and gave thanks. What a blessed life I have had, all because you said yes, so many years ago.
Know that, given the chance, I would choose you again. Not a doubt in my mind about that. Regarding your final wishes, you told me once, "I don't care if you have to rent them, I want lots of people there to say goodbye to me." Trust me my love, that is not going to be an issue, I assure you. You were, and still are, regarded so highly and loved by so very many, more the issue will be, where to put everybody. I have to meet with the funeral director today, to put together a service that will honor your life. That is going to be tough, but l will do the best I can, I promise you. I am so grateful my love, for God's grace and mercy, and that He called you home when he did. You endured so much, you deserve to be at peace. Rest well my Angel, I can think of no one more deserving of those wings. My God, but I will miss you. My deepest love, always and forever, your Bob. XOXOXO"
