Beth Van De Loo Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 5, 2021.
Beth A. Van De Loo was born on August 18, 1954 and fell asleep in the Lord on March 05, 2021, as a result of Covid-19 complications. Beth's life was dedicated to serving others, with a 47-year career as a Registered Nurse. She retired from Aurora Health Care--Family Medicine, Oshkosh, WI, in 2019. She is survived by her husband and "best friend" Kenneth Onapolis; her son Lucas Van De Loo; her cherished grandson Greysen; her mother Mary Beth Van De Loo; four brothers, two sisters; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a plethora of cousins. In accordance with Beth's wishes, she was cremated, with her ashes to be scattered on the shores of Homer, Alaska, during a private ceremony. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic a "Celebration of Life" will be help at a later date. In the meantime, please feel free to express your thoughts and prayers, as well as share photographs of your favorite memories with Beth. She is deeply missed and her absence from this world shall forever leave a void no one else could ever hope to fulfill! Beth, you are eternally loved!!!

I am so sorry to hear this. I worked with Beth at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Ak. She was such a happy gal. My condolences to her spouse and family.

I am so shocked to learn of Beth's passing. I happened to look her up to catch up with her only to find this obituary. I used to work with Beth while I was a Phlebotomist at a plasma donation center and she was the main nurse on staff. We became great friends during the time I spent in Oshkosh before moving to Arizona in 2001. Beth was a very kind, loving and caring person. She would do anything for anyone. RIP Beth! Heaven has gained a wonderful angel. I regret losing touch with her thru the years. Blessings and condolences to the Van De Loo family. Lucas, not sure you would remember me but i used to play soccer with you in your yard. We had good times. So sorry for the loss of your mom.

Beth and I were best friends in the 1990’s. We met while working at Providence Alaska Medical Center’s Emergency Department. We were both pregnant at the time and delivered our sons just days apart.

She was a great nurse, great friend, great mom, and a truly beautiful soul.

Beth, you added so much love, kindness, devotion, humor, and philosophical balance to all of our lives. You will forever own a piece of our hearts and will remain in our most fondest memories forever. Like everyone else that was blessed to have known you, I will love you forever my dear old friend. Beth, Thank you so much for all the laughs during the good and bad times. Every time I see an Owl, I think oh I should get that for Beth. One day I will get to Alaska, and visit all the places we talked about. My prayers are with you and your family. You will be missed.

I learned so much from Beth. Her caring, concern & expertise will be missed but much of what she was lives on in others with whom she shared her gifts. My prayers continue for you & your loved ones. May your soul soar... Marty Sacksteder
