Nancy Van De Loo Obituary

Nancy Van De Loo

Howards Grove - Nancy Van De Loo, 68, of Howards Grove, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2018 at HarborChase of Shorewood after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born March 10, 1949 in Sheboygan Falls to Helmuth and Anne (Grohskopf) Gamb. On September 19, 1970 Nancy was united in marriage to Gilbert VanDeLoo at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls.

Nancy worked at Kohler Company as a Technical Writer until she became a mother. She then became a stay-at-home mother and business owner of Nancy's Mini Shoppe. She had a love for family and antiques. Nancy enjoyed flower arranging, craft projects, trips to the casino, cooking and making doll house miniatures, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Kelly Malzewski of Oak Creek, her grandchildren Ashlyn and Trevor Malzewski, sister Patricia Harper; sisters-in-law Elaine Dunisch, Carol Moeller, Nancy Van De Loo and Marlee Gamb, also by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, her parents, step-father Marvin Simmelink, brother Helmuth "Junior" Gamb; in-laws Francis and Mildred VanDeLoo; brothers-in-laws James Van De Loo, Karl Dunisch, Henry Moeller and Dan Harper.

A Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Blue Harbor Resort - 725 Blue Harbor Drive, Sheboygan.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Nancy's name.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the caring staff of The Cove at HarborChase of Shorewood and Horizon Hospice for all their care and support. An extra special thank you to Cheryl Faller of Horizon Hospice.
