Belton-Stroup Funeral Home - FairbornBETHANY JOYELLE CLACK, age 24, peacefully passed away August 20, 2025. She was born July 24, 2001, in Orlando FL. Bethany is the beloved daughter of Edward and Amy (Griffin) Clack. She is survived by her parents, her sister Abigail, her sister Madison, her brother Caleb, as well as both sets of grandparents – Rev. Billy and Paula Griffin; Majors Peter and Estelle Clack.
Bethany is preceded in her journey to Heaven by Damon and Linda Hill (aunt and uncle), Micah Pippen (lung donor), Rev. Bill Jones (Godfather), as well as both maternal and paternal great-grandparents – Harold and Geraldine Griffin; Eugene and Jaqueline Price.
Bethany’s life was a reflection of kindness, creativity, and a genuine love for people. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel seen and valued, and she poured her heart into encouraging those around her to embrace their own talents and dreams.
Bethany was especially passionate about the arts. She believed that creativity has the power to heal, to inspire, and to open doors for young minds to see the world in new ways. Whether through painting, music, or simply celebrating the beauty in everyday life, she left a legacy of imagination and joy.
To honor Bethany’s memory and the way she lived her life, we created a GoFundMe to support art supplies for local schools and student scholarships. She often spoke about the importance of giving children opportunities to express themselves through art—regardless of their background or circumstances. By contributing, you are not only helping provide the tools students need to explore their creativity but also carrying forward Bethany’s spirit of generosity and artistry.
While her time with us was far too short, Bethany’s impact will continue to ripple outward—through every brushstroke, every project, and every child who is given the chance to create because of her legacy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00PM, Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Kettering Assembly of God, 2250 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH, 45440. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the GoFundMe. Bethany’s GoFundMe https://gofund.me/f152f69a
