Betsy Aragon (81) of Farmington, NM, entered into eternal rest March 10, 2023. She was born January 9, 1942, in Tajique, NM, to parents Edwardo and Rufina Otero. Betsy loved listening to Spanish music, her favorite band being Los Tigres del Norte. Her favorite actor was Chuck Norris. She had seen every one of his movies! Betsy also liked to sew, frequently making her own clothing.
Betsy is preceded in death by her parents, Edwardo and Rufina Otero, 5 brothers, 4 sisters, and 1 grandchild, Jacob Aragon. She is survived by her two sons, Joel (Corrine) Aragon, and Gerald Aragon; her daughter, Jessie (Mike) Smith; her sister, Eslinda Sanchez; 8 grandchildren, Gerald Aragon Jr., Anthony Aragon, Joseph Aragon, Desiree Aragon, Felina Castillo, Austin Leonard, Joel Aragon Jr., and Sarah O'Connor; and 21 great-grandchildren.
At this time, the family is still planning a service for Betsy. Please check back at a later date for service details.
