I just returned to Jamestown, and can’t help but notice that Bette’s porch is empty.
When I met her she was so beautiful, friendly and welcoming.
“ come join me for coffee “ she said
I was always off to tennis in the morning, so I would wave to her each morning on my way to tennis.. only once did I join her for coffee. I will miss her. Bette was a very special person.

Bette was one of the sparkly people who shined her light on everything and everyone. I knew her through her business- as a customer, and always found her to have the best energy. My condolences to all.

Bette is one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever met. She was kind, caring and generous. She always put others before herself. I´m so glad that we met many years ago and I had the chance to befriend Bette through our work. I will miss her greatly but also take comfort in knowing that she had a one-way ticket straight to Heaven. Rest in peace my dear friend. Jay P. (Viti Inc.)

I'm shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Bette's passing. I remember one day about thirty years ago, we were at that beach house in Newport and I'll never forget that Bette said, "One day I just want to sit on a rock and throw pebbles in a lake." I know that's what you are doing now, Bette, in a most peaceful place. I always had a tremendous amount of respect for you. You were a beautiful and kind soul. Rest now Bette. You will be missed by all who knew you. My most sincere condolences to family and friends.
Love,

Miss Betty..the first time meeting you i was soooo enthralled by your physical beauty. Then getting to know you i realize you were such a beautiful soul hence why it was radiating on the outside. I enjoyed all our Summer trips we would take to Rhode Island with Skip, and even tho i was a Care giver for his parents, i was always treated like family by you and Skip..you always make sure i was well taken care of when we were there.
I have always treasure my first designer purse you gave me for my birthday, and my pearls that you gifted me....you will surely be missed. Sleep in Peace Miss Betty.

I´ll always remember first time I met you. You were so beautiful and elegant. We were in Joe's boat, and we hit it off right away. Bette I know you and Joe are together again creating a ruckus up in Heaven. May you rest in Paradise, till we meet again. My condolences to you and your family.
My family and I send our deepest sympathies you will be missed.
Love,
