Betty Frias Rodriguez Jesus Rodriguez
May 13, 1948 - June 19, 2025 June 2, 1941 - July 1, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved parents, Jesus Rodriguez and Betty Rodriguez who were taken way too soon. Mom was born in Georgetown, TX on May 13, 1948, from the union of John and Angelita Frias and left this world peacefully on June 19, 2025 at the tender age of 77. A short 12 days later, our father who was born in Mathis, TX on June 2, 1941, from the union of Samuel and Consuelo Rodriguez, joined our beloved mother on July 1, 2025 at the tender age of 84.
Mom and Dad both brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with their kind hearts, unwavering support and undying faith. They left a legacy of prayer, wisdom, faith and hope. They were always there when we needed them the most and their absence leaves a void in our hearts, but knowing they are together brings us joy and comfort. Mom and Dad are the true definition of being soulmates. Mom and Dad never left each other's side and even in death, they could not be apart.
They are survived by their five children: Angelita Marie Engelhardt, Jesse Rodriguez, Jr., Eva Margaret Rodriguez, Diana Marie Rodriguez, and Daniel Isaac Rodriguez. Also surviving them are Mom's living brother, Clifford Frias, Dad's four living brothers, Mike Rodriguez, Sam Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez and David Rodriguez, and three living sisters, Dominga Martinez, Guadalupe Rodriguez and Frances Solis alongside with eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceding them both in death is their beloved son, Joe Angel Rodriguez.
So being together as one for over 61 years, the Lord has taken them together as one to have everlasting eternity.
