Betty Jeanne Beckley, age 96, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Country Court Nursing Home in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was born on February 28, 1929, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Edmund and Grace (Mills) Burke.
In her spare time, Betty loved to mow the lawn and take care of her garden. She was a member of the Knox Chapter #236 Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, William (Victoria) Beckley; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, William C. Beckley.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 am at Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to: Donor's Choice.

Betty worked as a part time teller for me at The Peoples Bank. She was a absolute JOY to be around! She would make whoopie pies for the staff and we would all fight over who got them! May God grant you peace and comfort in the loss of a spectacular woman!
