Betty Cook

Betty Cook, age 92, of Tunnel Hill, GA, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kimsey Jack Coker and Betty Cordelia Coker; her husband, Charles William Cook; son-in-law, Lloyd Smith; granddaughters, Tabatha Smith, Heather Smith; several brothers and sisters.
Betty was a member of North Whitfield Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Smith of Tunnel Hill; sons and daughter-in-law, Steve and Brenda Cook of Easley, S.C., Terry Cook of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Holly Lane (Andy), Emilee Kolakowski (Tim), Christopher Cook (Lauren), Jennifer Byrnes (Matthew), Ethan Cook (Falon); great-grandchildren, Charlie Cook, Anna Kate Cook, Mary Belle Byrnes, Hugh Byrnes, Cooper Cook, Esai Lane and Mia Lane.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. J.T. Sanders and Rev. John David Dorsey officiating
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Esai Lane, Ethan Cook, Christopher Cook, Tim Kolakowski, Andy Lane and Steve Cook.
Burial will be in Dogwood Valley Cemetery.
