Betty Lou Crunk, 87, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at her home in Chrisman, Illinois surrounded by family.

A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in Edgar Cemetery in Paris, Illinois.

Betty was born in Dennison, Illinois on February 17, 1938, the daughter of the late Herman and Dora Bartley Stover. She married Charles "Chuck" Crunk on January 24, 1955, in Terre Haute, Indiana. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2021.

Betty worked for many years at the Zenith Company in Paris. She was a long time and active member of the Chrisman Christian Church, Ladies Auxiliary, the Home Children's Education program, and the Ladies Walk to Emmaus. Betty enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, word searches, and reading. Betty enjoyed many things during her life, but she was always most happy spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Terry (Loren) Roach of Springfield, Il, Kathy (Jeff) Tucker of Chrisman, Il, Randy (Pam) Crunk of Paris, Il, Lori (Howard) Wagoner of Chrisman, Il, Carla (Andy) Duke of Danville, Il; her 22 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; her brother: Herbert Stover of Georgetown, In; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her sons Charles Jr. and Andy Crunk; her daughter Charlotte Sue Crunk; her siblings: William Stover, Dora Bell Kyle, Kate Belew, Gladys Edmunds, Shirley Medley, and Caroline Rigdon.
