Betty Lee Doler

Betty Lee Upchurch Doler, age 81 of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, in a local hospital. Born on January 14, 1943, on Parris Island, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Upchurch and the late Blanche Gault Upchurch.
Living in the Ephesus community most of her life, Betty enjoyed spending time with her many friends. Painting and coloring were two of Betty's favorite pastimes, and she was very skilled at velvet art. Later in life she enjoyed watching television. Her favorite shews were "Murder She Wrote," "Walker Texas Ranger," and "Reba,". and she could watch these programs over and over. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.
Her survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ray & Christy Loiacano of Carrollton; her daughter, Samantha Cossey of Alexander City, Alabama, and her nine grandchildren: Blake, Devin, Amy, Leah, Emily, Daniel, Jeremy, Stephanie, and Ginny. Also surviving are her sister, Becky Upchurch; 16 great-grandchildren with 3 on the way; and one great great-grandson, as well as many friends.
In keeping with the family's wishes, Betty will be cremated.
The family will host a memorial service for Betty Doler on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Ephesus Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Geter officiating.
Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
