Betty worked for many years at TransAmerica Insurance, starting as a secretary and then becoming an adjuster until her retirement in 1993. She was an avid member of the Convis Union United Methodist Church in Battle Creek where she was a member of the Spinners Club. Betty enjoyed going out to Cornwell's Turkeyville for the dinner theatre, and was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She loved her family, soaking in the company of her grandchildren always put a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed.
Betty is survived by her son, Clayton (Johanna) Dove; grandchildren, Tim Canterbury, Tabatha Canterbury, Clinton Travis Dove; 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Smothers; husband, Clinton Dove; and 5 siblings.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Convis Union United Methodist Church, 18990 12 Mile Road, Battle Creek, Michigan, 49014.
