Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Dussia (Clarke)
Passed away peacefully September 14th, 2022 at Hospice of NW Ohio after an 11 month battle with glioblastoma. Betty was a warrior and conquered her first battle with breast cancer in 1985.
Betty was born on January 1st, 1943. She was "Toledo's first 1943 baby" and it was announced in the Toledo Blade. Betty was the fifth of twelve children born into the loving family created by Russell and Evelyn Clarke. Betty was passionate with her love for her family and friends. She cherished her time spent with her husband Marvin, their four children, daughter in-law, granddaughter and her siblings. She especially loved her time spent with her sisters and sister-in-law's. They sure had some fun! Betty had an amazing talent for knitting and crocheting. Her beautiful creations are owned and cherished by many.
Betty was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, along with her brothers, Joe Clarke, Tom Clarke, Jeff Clarke and sister, Sharon McVicker.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Marvin Dussia; children, Michael (Chris) Dussia, Thomas (Kelly) Dussia, Amy (Greg) Dunn and Kenneth Dussia; granddaughter, Michaela Dussia; brothers, Dick (Sharon) Clarke, Russell (Glenda) Clarke; sisters, Doris Rober, Helen (Jerry) Price, Rose Hall, Mary Clarke and Debra (Larry) Piddock; sister-in-law, Cecelia Clarke and many nieces and nephews.
Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
