Betty (Batson) Fryar, age 92, of Bonnerdale, AR, born on April 11, 1933, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2025. She was born to Elmer Batson and Agnes Padgett in Adair Westville, OK.
Mrs. Fryar was Baptist in her faith. Betty loved spending time with family. she especially loved the outdoors. Fishing was her favorite past time. Hiking, sightseeing, and bowling were also some of her favorites. Playing baseball at the Senior Center and helping others were also high on her list. She was loved by all who met her. Betty leaves a huge void in our lives. But she lives on in our hearts.
She is predeceased by her husband, Burl Fryar, Sr.; her sons James and Jimmy Fryar; her daughters, Pam (Fryar) Gentry and Angie (Fryar) DeAngeles.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Alan and Burl Fryar, Jr.; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home-Glenwood.
