Betty Louise Hubele, age 91 of Hartville, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2013 at Altercare of Hartville.
Betty was born in Cherry Tree, Pa. on March 20, 1922 to Harry and Ida McDonnell. Betty moved to Akron during World War II and found work at Firestone, where she worked until retirement. Mom loved her frequent shopping trips and visiting her family in Pennsylvania. She was an original member of the Akron Baptist Temple.
Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leroy; sons, Denny (Sue) Hubele of Uniontown, Don (Donna) Hubele of Jackson, Miss.; grandchildren, Amy (Bob) Smith, Christine (Tim) Scheid, Stephanie (Andrew) Yoder, Nathan and Matthew Hubele; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Kelsie Smith, Wyatt Scheid, Natalie and Levi Yoder; and special nephew, Neil (Judy) Swan. The family wishes to thank the staff of Altercare of Hartville for their kindness and care.
Per Betty’s wishes, there will be no calling hours and private family funeral with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron, OH 44306.
