Robert "Bob" Hubele, 87, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at Linda E. White Hospice House.

Bob was born in Evansville, IN on January 9, 1939, to the late Howard and Margaret (Thomas) Hubele. He was a graduate of Central High School and attended Delaware Grade School. Bob worked for 18 years at Sterling Brewery before continuing in construction until his retirement. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting, and was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan. Bob took great pride in the home he built along the river, a place he truly loved. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Bob is survived by his wife of 43 years, Anne (Foley) Hubele of Evansville, IN; son, Scott Hubele (Susan) of Evansville, IN; sister, Ida Shorr of Menifee, CA; grandchildren, Kayce Harris (Cameron) of Evansville, IN and Hillary Richmann (Kyle) of Indianapolis, IN; and great-grandchildren, Axl Harris, Ava Harris, Luke Richmann, and Margot Richmann, and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd Hubele; and his sister, Diana Williams.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
