Betty Ann Inskip, 79, of Trenton, IL was born Wednesday, September 6, 1944 in Edwardsville, IL and she passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at her home in Trenton, IL.
Betty was a faithful long-time member of Collinsville Church of Christ where she taught Bible classes. She was part of the Warped and Twisted Fiber Guild. She enjoyed spinning and dying wool and then knitting with the yarn she made. Betty enjoyed collecting primitive antiques, watching period dramas, cooking and gardening. She and Erv were very proud of being foster parents to many children throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin A. and Gwendolyn (nee Hord) Witcher; her brother, Ron Witcher and her sister Shirley Peckham.
Surviving are her husband, Ervin Inskip whom she married December 4, 1965 in Wood River, IL; her daughters, April (Gary) Damian of Troy, IL, Kimberly Inskip of St. Louis, MO and Erin (Greg) Nordmann of Summerfield, IL; her grandchildren, Autumn O'Reilly, Isabelle Kitterman, Chase Damian, Wyatt, Chloe and Heidi Nordmann; great-grandchildren Anna and Jack O'Reilly; sister-in-law Sue Witcher of Troy, IL; many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be made to Potter Children's Home, 2350 Nashville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101 or Shults-Lewis Child & Family, 325 S 150 E, Valparaiso, IN 46383. Online expressions of sympathy may be made at www.Richesonfh.com
Visitation for Betty will be 5 to 7 pm on Monday, July 1, and 10 to 11 am on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at Collinsville Troy Church of Christ, 1400 Troy Rd, Collinsville, IL 62234.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, July 2, at Collinsville Troy Church of Christ, with Chad Dollahite officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
