Born August 5, 1930 in Melrose Park Illinois passed away peacefully December 7, 2024 in Elgin Illinois.
Betty grew up in Maywood Illinois with her large family of 12. Nine siblings and her parents, all girls and one boy who have all predeceased her.
She worked in the home healthcare services for about 12 years before retiring at age 62. Our mom was a caring, wonderful, thoughtful, fun, daughter, sister, mom, mother-in-law, grandma, and great grandma. She enjoyed the many things she did with her children and their families and her trips to so many places, Mom was much loved and will be missed very much.
Predeceased by her father Francis McDaniel, and her mother Mayme McDaniel nee Eberhardt and daughter Patricia Denise Duncan.
She is survived by her three loving children, Fred (Carol) James, Wayne (Sue) James and Diane (Ken) Mills; 14 grandchildren Jennifer, Tracy, Jim, Erin, Heather, Brett, Carly, Lisa and 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
