Betty Ann Johnson, 90, of Fried Meat Ridge Road, Keyser, WV, died on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, MD.
Born on October 14, 1934 in Keyser, WV, she was a daughter of the late Lester Edward and Flossie Mae (Grapes) Dawson. She also was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 64 years, Leonard A. "Fuzzy" Johnson on June 21, 2018; a sister, Elnora Dawson and a brother Robert "Sonny" Dawson.
Mrs. Johnson was a 1953 graduate of Keyser High School. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be missed by her entire family. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely and she was a faithful member of the Assemblies of God Church.
Surviving are her sons, Greg Johnson and wife Karen, Randy Johnson and Tim Johnson and wife Lori; four grandchildren, Chase Laurita, Savannah Savage, Sierra Noelk and Seneca Johnson and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Shirley Taylor and Lynnie Garrett.
Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Johnson officiating.
Entombment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Keyser.
