Beloved wife of Sylvester L. Kapocius; loving mother of Jim (Linda) Kapocius, Keith (Catherine) Kapocius, and the late Cynthia Henry; proud grandmother of Maria (John) Lee, Bryen (Deena) Kapocius, Kathy (Tom Barrington) Henry, Philip (Amber) Kapocius, Dennis Kapocius, Scott (Jackie) Kapocius; great-grandmother of 8; dear sister of Theresa (the late Bob) Schultz, Mary (the late Gene) Brown, Mike (the late Barbara) Zolfo, and the late Toni (the late Paul) Talley; aunt and friend to many.
Betty loved babysitting for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Franciscan Village in Lemont.
Visitation Monday December 4, 2023, from 3 - 8 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home 19604 Wolf Rd, Mokena, IL 60448. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 AM prayers at the funeral home going to St Jude Church 241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451, for 10 AM Funeral Mass. Interment Mt Olivet Cemetery - Joliet, IL.
