Betty Jane Kline, 99, of Hartville, passed away on September 22, 2025. She was born on January 22, 1926 to the late Milton and Della {Young} Kurtz.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl Eugene Kline in 2017, their daughter Belinda Haren, and all 10 of her brothers and sisters.
Betty is survived by her loving children Julie (Freddy De Marco) Schott and Virgil (Wendy) Kline; grandchildren Jennifer Haren, Jayme Haren, Ryan (Brandy) Schott, Trevor (Heather) Kline, Melanie (Tim) Bates and Eric (Kassidy) Schott; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and their families.
Betty loved dancing and gardening, even earning the nickname "Professional Weed Puller" from her family! More than anything, her family was at the forefront of her life, and she took pride in providing for them as both a caring mother and a career woman.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Tuesday, September 30th from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A procession will follow to Hillside Memorial Park, where a committal service will be held, and Betty will be laid to rest with her beloved Earl.
