Betty Magdalena Laguna Tello

Born on July 22, 1957, in Huánuco, Peru, Betty completed her early studies in her hometown and later pursued higher education in Lima, where she graduated with a degree in Education.

She worked as a teacher for 19 years, dedicating herself to her students with love and commitment. Afterward, she continued serving others as a Sunday School teacher at the Evangelical Church “Apocalipsis” in Los Olivos, Lima.

Betty married Raúl Camargo on December 2, 1985, in a civil ceremony, followed by their religious wedding on December 29 of the same year.

On February 6, 2001, Betty and her husbandemigrated to the United States, where they became active members of the Segunda Iglesia Evangélica Pentecostal Juan 3:16 in Stamford, Connecticut. There, she continued her ministry as a Sunday School teacher, sharing God’s love and wisdom with many beloved children.

Betty was known for her joyful spirit, faith, and the deep love she showed to everyone around her. She touched many lives and built lasting friendships.

After falling ill in May 2025, Betty passed away on October 17, 2025. She will always be remembered for her kindness, devotion, and the light she brought to all who knew her.
