Betty Carolyn Lasater Rambo

Betty Carolyn Lasater Rambo, 88, of Scott, Arkansas, passed away on November 5, 2023. She was born in Morrilton, Arkansas, to the late George and Viola Robert Lasater on July 6, 1935.

Betty was a graduate of NLR Highschool, Class of 1953. She was a member of Northview MBC. Early in life she worked side by side with Bill as he pastored several country churches. She would lead the singing, work in the WMA and be with the small children. Betty was a retired bookkeeper at Levinson Cleaners and a homemaker. She loved God, family, friends and was a great fan of Gospel music. Betty always had a song in her heart and on her mind. She loved visiting by phone with friends and a number of hobbies including; crochet, cross stitch and keeping her husband’s genealogy books up to date.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Roger Dale Rambo; three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Rambo; two sons, Pete (Teressa) Rambo of Scott, AR and James (Amanda) Rambo of Jacksonville, AR; grandchildren, Heather Harding (Russ) of Empire, AL, Amanda Sckrohod ( Alexandre) of Thompson Station, TN, Lindsey Spano of Warrior, AL, Kainna Lea Rambo Boyce (Zach) of Dallas, TX,  Aaron Wade Rambo, US Army, Jeremy (Tina) Hudson of Donaldson, AR, Chad  (Valeri) Hudson of Fayetteville, AR, Eric (Mindy) Hudson of Beebe, AR, Eight great-grandchildren; Sister-in-Law, Relda Lasater; A host of nephews and nieces as well as members of Northview Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at Smith NLR Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM following the visitation. Burial to follow at Edgewood Cemetery, NLR, AR.
