Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Bessie (Fuller) Carrigan.
Betty was a graduate of Solanco High School, class of 1956. She made a career in the banking industry as a teller, retiring from Farmer's Bank. In her retirement, she worked for a beauty salon as a receptionist. In her spare time, she enjoyed planting flowers each year, staying busy, and working around her home. A fastidious person, Betty loved keeping her house clean. She also loved animals and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Steven (Lucinda Fisher) Crotti, of Paradise, a daughter, Susan A. Baldwin, of Airville, grandchildren, Mathew (Tara) Taylor, of Willow Street, Heather (Jose) Sanchez, of New Providence, and Nathan (Trista) Crotti, of Kentucky. She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne (Roxanne) Carrigan, of Pequea, and Allen Carrigan, of Little Britain, and a sister, Lois (Jim) Snyder, of Wilmington, DE. In addition to her husbands and her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Carrigan, and a sister, Dorothy Latham.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 21, at Little Britain Presbyterian Cemetery, 255 Little Britain Church Road, Peach Bottom, PA 17563, with Pastor Derek Weidman officiating.
