Glenda E. Heck, 67, of Little Britain, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Dale C. Heck, with whom she shared 38 years of marriage.
Born in Oklahoma City, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Trout and the late Velda Mae (Alexander) Hawthorne.
Glenda was a graduate of Solanco High School, class of 1975. Following high school, she attended culinary school and went on to be a cook at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, retiring in 2024 with 35 years of service. In her spare time, Glenda enjoyed watching birds outside her front window and planting vegetables and flowers in her garden each year. Having an interest in automobiles, she loved to attend the Fall Hershey AACA Meet and she was looking forward to visiting the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Diana Nelson, of North East, Maryland, and Step-Daughter Karen Campbell, of Tanglewood, a grandson, William Gabriel Nelson, and a sister, Paula Miller, of Holtwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Hawthorne, and sisters, Candy Hawthorne and Katie Trout.
Services and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Glenda's memory to Hershey Antique Automobile Club of America.
