Betty Lou Marshall, age 87, of Huber Heights, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2025. Born in Somerset, Kentucky, Betty Lou’s life was a beautiful testament to faith, family, and love.
A devoted member of Living Word Church, Betty Lou’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She shared her warmth and kindness with everyone she knew, often through the comfort of her kitchen. Known for her incredible cooking and her signature gingerbread and lemon crisp cookies, she found joy in bringing people together with good food and a generous heart.
Those who knew Betty will remember her steady strength, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her faith and loved ones. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her kindness and the traditions she passed down through her kids and six grandchildren. Betty will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her son Chris Marsall and daughter Kelly Hefner. Along with her six grandchildren, Tony, Kathy, Heather, William, Richard and Maddie, and one great grandchild, Adriana.
Betty’s funeral will be held as a small private ceremony in honor of her final wishes.
