She was a librarian with Library Archives at Mississippi State University and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Self.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Siedmiorka of Starkville, MS; son, Stanley Self of Crawford, MS; grandchildren, Michelle Siedmiorka of Gulf Shores, AL and Nikolase Siedmiorka of Starkville, MS.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 21, 2025 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS.
