Betty Jane Steinfurth

Betty Jane (Hoshauer) Steinfurth - 91 formerly of Temple PA passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Steinfurth in 2009. Born December 31,1931 in Leesport PA in Dr. Born's office. The daughter of the late Charles E. Hoshauer Sr., and the late Louise R. (James) Hoshauer. She was one of five children and is survived by her beloved sister, Shirley Bender of Ohio. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, playing bingo, and the love and company of her German Shepherd, Smokey who awaits her or Rainbow Bridge. She is survived by daughter, Georgine E. Cox, (husband, Steve); Kathleen Royles; Michael L. Brady Sr. (wife Debbie); Michele L. Rauenzahn (husband Scott); Robert L. Steinfurth; Karen Hoagland (husband Dave). Nanna Betty adored her thirteen grandchildren, Kevin Heltzinger Jr. (wife Amber), Lisa Heltzinger, Michael L. Brady, Jr. (wife April), Jason Sallada (wife Gina), Kristen Brady, Colton Steinfurth (stationed in Guam with the U.S. Airforce), Dakota Hoagland, Kaitlin Rice (husband Tyler), Dalton Hoagland (wife Keara), Jarred Steinfurth, and Jessika Steinfurth, Wendy Mengel and fiancé Shawn, and Timothy Purdy and wife Sarah, and eleven greatgrandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Aunt Betty also had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews that she adored. Private graveside services will be held at the Laureldale Cemetery in Tuckerton, PA at the convenience of the family.
