Jeffrey "Jeff" Steinfurth

Jeffrey Roy Steinfurth, age 70, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Center. He was born on September 26, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, to Roy and Lenore (Sterling) Steinfurth. Jeff was a 1971 graduate of Rogers High School and started his career entering the trades. He was a master insulator for the Heat and Frost Insulators Union Local #45, retiring after 30 years of service. Jeff was proud of his years in the union, and his fellow union workers. He was involved with many industrial jobs over the years including, the Enrico Fermi Plant, the Toledo Zoo, and the building of Davis-Besse. Jeff served the union in many capacities including past President, and past Vice President. He was also a member of the Executive Board, and the Apprenticeship Board Committee.

Family was his greatest passion and love. He married his wife, Patricia on June 8, 1979. Jeff adored his grandkids and great-grandkids. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia (Bourdo) Steinfurth; daughters, Shannon Steinfurth and Kyna (Dodd Pace) Steinfurth; granddaughter, Taylor Peeps; great-grandchildren, Ryker Russell, James Young, Kori Peeps, Kaycee Peeps, and Luna Peeps; brother, Dale (Shirley) Steinfurth; niece, Lana (John) Urey; and great-niece, Samantha Marek. He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Katie Peeps.

Jeff and his family have chosen to have no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to his great-grandchildren's college fund, c/o Patricia Steinfurth or Kyna Steinfurth.
